One of the themed events involves sharing 25 cool childhood toys from the 1960s to the 1990s, which are exhibited in six categories. sky100 introduces the story and cultural significance of each toy through texts and videos, helping visitors to understand the cultural evolution of toys. sky100 will also hold a series of art experience workshops where visitors can make miniature aeroplane olives, handmake a Chinese opera mask, try their hand at rainbow calligraphy, and more. The upgraded Pets Park located in the outdoor podium on L1 of New Town Plaza Phase One is unveiling a new look. Ten new petting amusement facilities are now available, including a 3m-tall giant cute Shiba Inu selfie installation, a 4-hoop jumping ring and an S-shaped continuous swinging bar to help pets improve their sensitivity. There is also a jumping platform made up of five small paws to fully test pets' jumping power, and a seesaw to promote pets' leg coordination. The pet staircases can help strengthen your pets' bones, and there are small circular pedal boards, pet staircases and a whole host of other fun things as well. The mall cares about your pets, which is why there is a water dispenser specifically for pets, as well as a "poop poop" sandpit and some chairs with shelters for relaxing, so that all your furry friends can enjoy themselves by releasing energy! Promotion period of Metro Green Annual Plan – Go Green Sumer Camp: from now until November 2022
Metroplaza hosts the Metro Green urban farm project, bringing a diverse and fun green experience to customers. As part of the project, the Green Farming activity was carried out by the mall and the social enterprise Rooftop Republic to transform the Sky Garden on L5 into lush green farmland. Come along and take part in the workshop held at the mall, where you can learn basic agricultural knowledge and techniques under the guidance of an expert, grow vegetables, fruits, herbs and more yourself, and experience the joy of cultivation. You can also have fun with Metroplaza's smart book Cabinet and participate in the Reading for the Environment activity, where you can borrow pre-loved picture books, children’s books or books related to environmental protection for free, to learn more about living a green life.
