SmartWorks demonstrates how 5G technology can be leveraged to improve safety of construction sites and to increase efficiency
SmarTone, a subsidiary of Sun Hung Kai Properties (SHKP), has unveiled the 5G LAB at the sky100 Hong Kong Observation Deck (sky100). Visitors can enjoy unparalleled, 360-degree and unobstructed views of Hong Kong at 393 metres above sea level, while experiencing a variety of new 5G technology applications and learning about the latest 5G developments and trends in Hong Kong. SHKP Club members are even entitled to special 5G LAB admission offers* by the end of June this year.
The establishment of 5G LAB echoes SHKP's corporate value of "Building Homes with Heart," and demonstrates that SHKP is taking great leaps towards leveraging technology for smart living, as well as bringing universities, start-ups, and industry-leading technology companies together to grow Hong Kong's 5G ecosystem. 5G is a critical infrastructure that will enable Hong Kong to develop into an international innovation and technology hub, as outlined in the 14th National Five-Year Plan.
