Sun Hung Kai Properties' (SHKP's) property management arms Hong Yip and Kai Shing have adopted an array of preventive measures and value-added services in the residential properties to maintain a clean and hygienic living environment, committed to ensuring the safety and protecting the health of every resident. Below are some of the measures:

Increase the cleaning and disinfection frequency in estate public areas. Frequently-touched public facilities are cleaned with 1:99 bleach or equivalent disinfectant, including lift buttons, door handles of entrances and exits, and more.

Set up self-service disinfection stations in residential lobbies, providing residents with sterilized carpets, hand sanitizers, and other disinfectant supplies to prevent the spread of virus.

Regularly place bleach pills in our buildings' flush water tanks to sterilize the waste water, and call on residents to regularly inject fresh water into the drain (the U-shaped water trap) within the unit. Customer Service Offices will also send personnel to provide onsite assistance to any resident in need.

With the consent of owners' organisations, Customer Service Offices have temporarily closed children's recreational facilities and part of the clubhouse facilities. To avoid people gathering and reduce the risk of virus transmission, indoor activities such as interest classes are suspended.

Strengthen the cleaning and disinfection of clubhouse facilities. Anyone entering a clubhouse must have his/her body temperature measured.

Door-to-door catering delivery service is available at some estate clubhouse restaurants to satisfy residents' needs during this prevention time.

Customer Service Offices regularly distribute latest information on infection prevention to residents via own designated mobile apps or notice boards at residential lobbies.

All estate staff members must measure body temperature before work and to wear face masks while on duty.
