Maintenance tips
  • Marble care can be divided into four general categories: cleaning, protection, refinishing and restoration.
  • Acid-based cleaners should be avoided.
  • Clean marble with water regularly and use an alkaline-based cleaner (available from marble suppliers).
  • Marble flooring should be waxed every three months, and walls need waxing every half-year.
  • Yellowing or rust stains can be removed with a rust remover, using cotton to cover the surface for two hours, then rinsing with clean water.
  • Consult a professional marble company for stubborn stains.
  • Not all detergents are suitable for cleaning marble, the wrong detergents can ruin the surface.
